Making a real difference to climate change through real estate
Real estate bears great responsibility on the front lines of climate change countermeasures, which have become a global megatrend, and also has the power to change the world of the future.
With over 15 years of experience in global real estate investment and the introduction of real estate ESG with institutional investors, I felt that essential methods and approaches to climate change countermeasures and ESG were lacking in real estate, so I developed EaSyGo services in 2020.
Currently, efforts in climate change countermeasures and ESG in the real estate industry, led by global companies, institutional investors, governments, and international organizations, are advancing in the creation of large frameworks such as information disclosure, rule-making, and the formation of industry groups and certification bodies.
On the other hand, I believe that efforts to involve all people related to real estate to improve and create more fundamental change are not progressing.
