We will be holding a webinar entitled "Finance Reform: Utilizing Green Buildings and Green Bonds in Real Estate" on Tuesday, August 27th from 4pm.

In June 2024, an international coalition consisting of the Green Building Councils of the US, Australia, and Singapore, BRE (UK), and Alliance HQE (France) published the report Financing Transformation: A Guide to Green Building for Green Bonds and Green Loans . With the aim of setting a clear trajectory towards achieving the 1.5°C target, in cooperation with GRESB, Climate Bonds Initiative, and CRREM – Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor, the report provides practical guidance on compliance with global classification and bond frameworks using various certification standards.
In this webinar, Jing Wang (Vice President, North Asia, USGBC and GCI) will present the report, and experts on real estate sustainability both in Japan and overseas, Yasushi Kinoshita (CEO, Eminence Partners LLC; Co-CEO, Green Building Japan), and Ryuichi Horie (CEO, CSR Design Environmental Investment Advisors, Inc.), will discuss the trends and outlook for green finance both in Japan and globally. In addition, in the panel discussion, Yoshihiko Kawamura, Director of Finance at Mori Building Co., Ltd., which has raised a total of 110 billion yen through green bonds to date and completed Azabudai Hills, which has obtained LEED ND Platinum (preliminary certification) last year, and Hayato Tsuji, Director of Asset Finance at Development Bank of Japan Inc., will participate to discuss green finance efforts in Japan and the future.
Please join us for a chance to share useful information in order to accelerate the resolution of environmental issues using green finance in the future.
